Sankar Dutta is a renowned revolutionary poet and author and has gained a lot of fame throughout the state of West Bengal through his various literary pursuits. He has also organized various programs time  to time and again to encourage authors and poets around the country. He is also the owner of two publishing houses called Sandhya Prakashan and Educare Publishing. He has won several awards for his literary pursuits and also had been an active senior journalist till the recent past. His poems and strong articles have been appreciated far and wide and he holds good command in Bengali and English languages. He belongs to the literature fraternity of Bengal which has a world wide acclaim.
